Sunblock Quilt Pattern | April Rosenthal

I will never forget the time I got to witness a full eclipse. It was amazing! We checked out kids out of school and took them to the top of my husband's office building several stories up and went to the roof, where we got to watch with silly glasses and stand in awe of something so rare. We took cool pictures for several hours after of all the shadows being shaped like crescents.  Sunblock is a fun quilt in memory of that fun moment! Have fun making little eclipse blocks of your own!

1 1/2 yards Background 1

1 3/4 yards background 2

1 1/4 yard dark navy fabric (sun block)

5/8 yard medium blue fabric (eclipse block)

1 1/4 yards border

3 3/4 yards backing

1/2 yard binding
