Jelly Roll precuts are never a bad idea! They usually consist of 40 - 2.5" strips of fabric in coordinating colors and patterns, and they come in tightly rolled, round bundles, mimicking the dessert for which they’re named. This little precut also stores well, has a ton of quilt patterns written just for it, and can make your next quilt top a breeze to create. Moda Fabrics was the first company to coin the term Jelly Roll and you can find many free patterns for the precut in their Moda Bakeshop!
Fun fact - if laid end to end, it takes just shy of 38 jelly rolls to make a mile!
