Wild Forgotten | Bonnie Christine

Wild Forgotten fabric collection designed by Bonnie Christine for Art Gallery fabrics has a special story. A few years ago, a well known children’s dictionary had to remove several unused words (like Doe, Dandelion and Bluebell) to make room for our children’s new vocabulary (like Broadband, chatroom and blog). With limited space a children's dictionary can only represent the words most commonly used by our youth.⁣ It's up to us to keep the these wild words alive in our children's language. They must not be forgotten. Every word and illustration in this collection represents one of those words.⁣ Bonnie's hope is that this collection will reignite the use of these words in our own homes and help our children remember the Wild Forgotten.
