Vessel | Alexia Abegg

Vessel fabric collection designed by Alexia Abegg for Ruby Star Society is an homage to her love of making pottery. She thought about the process of creating the shapes of different pots and painting motifs on bisqueware. For color inspiration, Alexia looked around her studio at the colored glazes she uses on her pots and the shades of different clay bodies. Vessel includes nine canvases with the thought of making things like bags and aprons, and versatile enough for picnic blankets and kitchen textiles. Vessel is a combination of two things Alexia really loves pottery and fabric.
