January 2025 Promo

*~*FREE 80/20 BATTING*~* for quilts received in January 2025 (or equivalent discount applied if you provide your own batting)!

Pricing

Prices are based on the size of your quilt and we charge $0.027 per square inch regardless of the quilting pattern you select. All patterns are edge to edge.

To figure the square inch of your quilt top, measure the width and the length and multiply them together and then multiply this by $0.027.

Example: A quilt which measures 60 X 60 = 3600 square inches X $0.027 = $97.20.

There is a minimum charge of $50 for any longarm quilting project.

Preparing Your Quilt Top

To assure a quality finished product and minimize your cost, please follow these basic guidelines:

  • Quilt top needs to be ironed flat and seams pressed to prevent puckering during quilting
  • Square the quilt top to your desired final size
  • All threads and points should be clipped, if not you do run the risk of threads showing through when quilting. This is especially true with white and light color fabrics
  • Make sure all pins have been removed
  • Mark the top of your quilt with a safety pin if the quilt is directional

Backing

  • Backing must be 4 inches wider than your quilt top on all sides meaning it should measure at least 8 inches longer and wider than your top
  • Press your backing and the any seams so it lays flat and is wrinkle free
  • We can provide backing from our shop and add the yardage to your final invoice. If your backing selection requires piecing, we will piece it for $12/seam

Batting

  • Quality batting is available and can be purchased from us, or you can send your own
  • Batting much be 3 inches wider than your quilt top on all sides meaning it should measure at least 6 inches longer and wider than your top
