The Pattern Basket

It was my love of fabric, my passion for quilting, and teaching at a local quilt shop that started me on the road to designing.  My designs have always been about simple and fun patterns that appeal to everyone.

All of my designs are made from squares and rectangles - no templates or paper piecing, just simple machine piecing.

I’m thrilled that I have been able to connect with so many quilters - from young moms making their first quilt to experienced quilters, looking for a new creative design. The Pattern Basket studio is in the country home my family and I built on what was once a Christmas tree farm in Dunrobin, Ontario. It's surrounded with nature’s inspiration.  You can sometimes find owls in my garden and deer wandering across our front yard.  I love everything the country has to offer.
