Megan Carter

Megan Carter is a talented artist who lives in West Yorkshire, a beautiful region in the northern part of the United Kingdom.  Upon earning a degree in Surface Pattern Design, Megan worked as an in-house designer for Hallmark Card and UKGreetings. Megan has recently launched her freelance design career and is lovingly transforming an old victorian bakery into a charming art studio.  Megan is immensely inspired by historical patterns, the art nouveau movement, and the Wiener Werkstatte period. She has a unique ability to pull beautiful elements from the past and create something fresh and relevant to the contemporary world.  Megan’s wonderfully stylized designs start off with pen and pencil drawings and brilliantly completed with gouache and digital art.
