Maria Carluccio

Maria Carluccio loves to explore fashion motifs in her work, in fact her love of what we wear prompted her to write and illustrate Her latest children's book D is for dress Up published by Chronicle Books. While doing her collage a day (which she posts everyday on Instagram / Facebook / Twitter) she started to experiment with papers from old vintage magazines and books. That was the starting point for her "Dress Up" fabric collection. Maria says, "I enjoy creating images and narratives that inspire... I try to infuse all my work with the same playfulness and curiosity by which I see the world." Maria designs fabric for Windham Fabrics.
