Kathleen Hollingsworth & Leigh Ann Kloefkorn

Kathleen Hollingsworth and Leigh Ann Kloefkorn ditched their day jobs to spend more time playing with quilts. Kathleen, a hairdresser, and Leigh Ann, a clinical laboratory scientist, have been sewing for, hmmm, many decades. Both started as garment sewists, so they have a fundamental knowledge of garment construction. They joined the Quilt Revival in the eighties (the 1980s, not the 1880s), becoming quiltmakers as time allowed. Always looking for new inspiration, when a vintage quilt needed rehoming in 2022, Kathleen thought it should become a quilted coat. That was the start of their adventure together making quilted jackets and coats. Now they teach others how to do so at local quilt shops and guilds. They are excited to share their trunk show and quilted jacket experiences.
