The FLW Tone on Tone fabric collection is designed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation for Cloud9 Fabrics. Cloud9 Fabrics partnered with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation to bring Frank Lloyd Wright's beautiful sophisticated art to fabric, and in drawing on Wright's distinctively American style, present fabrics that harmonize with Wright's reverence for organic materials, as well as Cloud9's own ethos. In 1927, Frank Lloyd Wright designed a series of 12 seasonal monthly covers for Liberty magazine. The magazine deemed them too avant-garde and returned them to Wright. Each design of the Liberty magazine covers is an example of Wright using the tools of his trade: t-square, triangle, and compass to create lively, geometric designs. The FLW Tone on Tone collection includes the March Balloons, Coonley Tulip, and April Showers prints in calming, graded tones. FLW Tone on Tone coordinates perfectly with the March Balloons collection and the April Showers collection. This collection is printed on 100% certified organic cotton.
