Robert Kaufman's Essex Linen is the perfect lightweight linen made of 55% linen and 45% cotton. It is a little sturdier than quilting cotton, yet softer than true upholserty fabric. Essex Linen can be used for a variety of crafty projects including but not limited to sewing, embroidery, and cross stitch.
