Bird is the Word | Kim Kight

Bird is the Word fabric collection is designed by Kimberly Kight for the Ruby Star Society. This collection is inspired by Kimberly Kight’s newest hobby: birding. Since last year, she has taken up the hobby in earnest. When she went on her first bird walk, it felt like a fairy realm was unlocked, and she found a deep well of inspiration. The Migration and Canopy prints were inspired by spring migration, Spark Bird has some popular backyard birds of North America people could identify, and Whippoorwill depicts the nocturnal birds that call through the night during spring and summer. The colors are so whimsically vintage, and the floral supporter prints are so vibrant and stand out on their own as well.
