Alijt Emmens

Aljit Emmens is a happy, full time illustrator from Amersfoort, a beautiful town in the Netherlands filled with rich history.  Alijt’s love of drawing from an early age slowly disappeared. However, that buried passion luckily resurfaced during her high school years. Boring class lectures resulted in doodles of very fat horses that followed Alijt into her college years.  She still wasn’t motivated by her studies, so Alijt’s brother encouraged her to draw more fat horses. We’re glad Alijt’s brother liked her doodles!  Alijt’s adorable illustrations are inspired by everything tiny, cute, and of course, a bit chubby. Alijt Emmens designs fabric for Cotton and Steel.
