Abby Luchsinger of Abby Maed strives to both honor the rich legacy of quilting passed down through generations and also reimagine it for today with modern heirloom quality quilts and designs that are simultaneously fresh, cozy and timeless. Abby Maed designs feature a signature palette full of soft and earthy tones and incorporate traditional quilt elements into a warm modern aesthetic. The designer behind Abby Maed is Abby Luchsinger. Abby is a third generation quilter and Abby Maed is a nod to her own quilting heritage as her middle name, Mae, is shared with her grandmother who taught her how to sew as a child. Abby is a 2023 Art Gallery Fabrics Sewcialite and lives outside of Madison, WI with her husband and four young kids.
